V-Con 2026 Launches in Malaysia

Published: September 13, 2026

PENANG, Malaysia — V-Convention 2026 officially opened Saturday in Penang, Malaysia, with QNET founder Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran challenging thousands of participants to overcome doubt, believe in their potential and “learn to fly” as they pursue success.

Held under the theme “Reform, Transform, Perform,” the multi-day convention, popularly known as V-CON, is QNET’s largest global gathering and is taking place at the Setia SPICE Arena in Penang, Malaysia.

The event has brought together thousands of participants, including QNET founders, executives and distributors, government officials, entrepreneurs and journalists from West Africa and other parts of the world.

The opening was characterized by electrifying performances, motivational and success stories, panel discussions and other activities, setting the stage for days of training, product presentations and launches, networking and personal development.

Delivering one of the major messages at the gathering, Eswaran centered his remarks on self-belief, using the ability to fly as a metaphor for overcoming fear and perceived limitations.

“All you need to do is to have that intrinsic belief to know you can fly and you must fly and you will fly,” Eswaran said.

He told participants that success does not come without obstacles, warning that criticism, setbacks and discouragement can sometimes come from those closest to them. But he argued that overcoming those challenges begins with overcoming fear within oneself.

Eswaran also encouraged participants to ensure their progress creates opportunities for others.

“Be a rock that others can lean upon,” he said, urging them to also become the “wings” that help others rise.

“I am intrinsic proof that if you believe in yourself anything and everything is possible,” Eswaran added. “This time has come, that you have to step off the edge and you have to simply learn to fly.”

QNET Co-Founder Joseph “Japa” Bismark followed the broader message of personal development by sharing his experience with Eswaran and lessons from nearly three decades in the business.

He said over the years, he had learnt lessons that led him to embrace the principle of “each one raises two,” stressing that mentorship can provide direction but cannot replace individual effort.

“I cannot do the work for you. Nobody, your upline could ever do the work for you, but we’re here to help you,” Bismark said.

Bismark also recalled his humble financial position when he began the journey, saying he was willing to work hard to change his financial situation.

“What did I see? A vision of what I could become, the potential earning I could have,” he said.

Meanwhile, Penang State Executive Council member for Housing and Environment Dr. YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu officially declared V-Con 2026 open.

Drawing on his nearly 40 years of corporate experience before entering government, Somu challenged participants to take responsibility for their personal development and future.

“I always believe that your future is in your own hands,” Somu said. “If you want to know who you can depend on for your own success, just stand in front of a mirror and you see the person inside the mirror.”

Somu recognized education as an area he needed to strengthen, prompting him to return to school and earn degrees.

“When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw my strength and I saw my weaknesses,” he said. “My strength kept driving me. My weaknesses, I had to correct.”

Speaking on behalf of the Penang state government, Somu welcomed participants to the state and thanked QNET for repeatedly selecting Penang to host the global gathering before officially declaring the convention open.

QNET Group Managing Director and V Partner Kuna Senathirajah also told participants that the decisions they make could determine the direction of their future.

“This is going to be the best decision you’ve made,” he said, recalling his own first V-Con experience. “Life is about making the right decision at the right time.”

Senathirajah pointed to QNET’s 28-year journey and urged participants to use the gathering to acquire knowledge, information, wisdom and experience while refusing to be distracted by criticism and doubt.

“Great success is usually made in a crisis,” he said. “When many people don’t believe, it’s the believers who will win.”

V-Con 2026 continues at the Setia SPICE Arena with training, panel discussions, product presentations and launches, motivational sessions, cultural performances and networking activities under the theme “Reform, Transform, Perform.”
