Rep. Isaac Wuo Dedicates US$65,000 Market Hall, Clinic to Boost Development in River Gee

POTUPO DISTRICT, River Gee County — Representative Isaac Boy Choloply Wuo of Electoral District #2 has dedicated two major development projects in Potupo District, which he said are valued at US$65,000, as part of his ongoing efforts to improve healthcare and economic opportunities for residents.

According to Representative Wuo, the projects include the Bassa Community Market Hall, constructed at a cost of US$20,000, and the Jayproken Clinic, completed at a cost of US$45,000. He said the facilities are expected to strengthen healthcare delivery while providing traders with a modern marketplace.

Speaking during the dedication ceremony, River Gee County Health Officer Dr. Paulina S. M. Weah praised Representative Wuo for what she described as his continued commitment to improving healthcare services in the county.

Dr. Weah said that since assuming office as County Health Officer, Representative Wuo is the first lawmaker to undertake significant development initiatives that directly support healthcare delivery and infrastructure development in River Gee County.

She commended the lawmaker for investing in projects that improve the well-being of citizens and encouraged him to continue implementing initiatives that expand access to quality healthcare and other essential services.

River Gee County Superintendent Mike T. Swengbe also praised the completion of the market hall and clinic, describing the projects as important contributions to the development of Potupo District.

He said the facilities will have a lasting impact on local communities and encouraged Representative Wuo to continue implementing development initiatives that positively affect communities across Electoral District #2.

Also speaking, Abu S. M. Diallo, a civil society representative in River Gee County, commended Representative Wuo for the initiative, saying the projects demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the welfare of the people.

Diallo noted that investments in public infrastructure, particularly healthcare facilities and marketplaces, are essential to promoting community development and improving the quality of life for residents.

The dedication of the Bassa Community Market Hall and the Jayproken Clinic marks another milestone in Representative Wuo’s development agenda for Electoral District #2, reflecting his continued commitment to expanding access to healthcare, strengthening local commerce and improving living conditions for communities across the district.

He noted that the facilities will have a lasting impact on local communities and urged Representative Wuo to sustain his development agenda by implementing additional projects that address the needs of residents across Electoral District #2.

Also speaking, Mr. Abu S. M. Diallo, Civil Society Organization (CSO) representative for River Gee County, applauded Representative Wuo for the initiative, saying the projects reflect a strong commitment to improving the welfare of the people.

Diallo said investments in public infrastructure such as healthcare facilities and marketplaces are essential to promoting community development and improving the quality of life for residents.

The dedication of the Bassa Community Market Hall and Jayproken Clinic represents another milestone in Representative Wuo’s development agenda for Electoral District #2.

The projects underscore his continued commitment to expanding access to healthcare, strengthening local commerce and delivering community-centered infrastructure aimed at improving the lives of the people of River Gee County.
