MONROVIA — Liberia Football Association (LFA) Executive Committee member Cllr. K. Jlateh Sayor has enrolled in the prestigious FIFA Master program, becoming part of an elite network of sports leaders from more than 120 countries.
Sayor, who also chairs the LFA’s Legal and Player Status Committee, departed Liberia earlier this month to begin the 2025–26 program at De Montfort University in Leicester, England, where the first module is underway. His participation is fully sponsored by the LFA with support from FIFA.
Selected after a highly competitive process that attracted more than 3,000 applicants worldwide, Sayor is one of just 28 candidates chosen for this year’s class. His admission marks a milestone for Liberia’s football administration, giving the country direct representation in the global FIFA Master alumni community.
The LFA said its sponsorship of Sayor reflects the association’s commitment to strengthening capacity in sports management and football governance.
About the FIFA Master
Founded in 2000 and organized by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) with support from FIFA, the FIFA Master — officially known as the International Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport — is a one-year postgraduate program that takes students through three European universities:
- Humanities of Sport Module — De Montfort University, Leicester (Sept.–Dec. 2025)
- Sport Management Module — SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan (Jan.–Mar. 2026)
- Sports Law Module — University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland (Apr.–Jun. 2026)
- Final Project — completed in Neuchâtel (Jun.–Jul. 2026)
