In a major show of force and pure love, thousands of fans of Liberia’s international Musician Jonathan Lee Pratt, alias Jzyno, thronged the Roberts International Airport (R.I.A.) on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, to welcome home the superstar.
Liberia’s only international airport came to a standstill as crowds of fans, admirers, and motorcyclist groups rode on the wings of love to welcome home a Musician whose sound has transcended the Liberian and African landscapes.
His arrival, which came after his tour of the United States and just before the release of his latest song titled TeTaTo, was to see him headline the All Size Matters Festival alongside Takun J, Deng, SIO, and others.
Sunday night at the New Miami Beach in the Rehab Community of Paynesville was a spectacle to behold as thousands of fans and admirers of Jzyno filled the beach with heightened anticipation. The show’s name was an ode to the natural beauty of Liberian women, who are born with remarkable beauty and voluptuous figures, setting them apart from the hype of Brazilian Butt Lifts.
The show, which was scheduled to start at midday, didn’t begin until 8pm after a heavy rainstorm failed to dampen the mood of those attending.
As the rain ceased, Jzyno arrived to much fanfare as the crowd went wild upon seeing their 001 of the Liberian Music Industry.
He did not disappoint as he endeared the fans to his unique sounds and sweet tunes, but not before allowing his colleagues Takun J, Nuchie Meek, and Deng to serenade the crowd with their own unique songs.
His empathy and humanity became evident when Jzyno stopped his performance at 10:35pm to attend to a fan who appeared to have fainted backstage. He swiftly called for water, which was used to revive the fan on the main stage.
Upon regaining consciousness, he gave her a warm embrace before continuing his electrifying performance, which sent the crowd into a frenzied response.
Since emerging onto the musical scene, Jzyno has released unique songs that have traveled far beyond and reintroduced Liberia to nations across Africa, Europe, Asia, America, and Australia.
His internationally renowned song Butta My Bread broke records as the first Liberian song to go global and has cemented his place as a force to reckon with in the Afro Beat scene.
Jzyno is scheduled to fly to Kenya on Monday to headline another show with the Visa Boys before heading back to Liberia for a well-deserved vacation.
With the amount of love poured out for him by his passionate fans, it is clear that the young generation of Liberian Music Lovers has found comfort in a star they admire as their top musician in the republic, hence the title 001, Jzyno, The Rula.
