BREAKING: House Rules Committee Recommends Expelling Kolubah; Clerk Denies Supreme Court Halt Order

Capitol Hill — The House Committee on Rules, Order and Administration has recommended the expulsion of Montserrado County District 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah, with plenary in session Friday and moving toward a final vote as the Office of the Clerk dismissed claims that the Supreme Court had ordered lawmakers to stand down.

The committee presented its recommendation to the full House during Friday’s sitting. Lawmakers received the report and are proceeding with enforcement.

Deputy Chief Clerk Tuah Woods said the House has received no communication from the Supreme Court instructing it to halt the proceedings, pushing back against circulating claims that the High Court had intervened.

Plenary remains in session as the matter heads toward a final decision.
