Harper Fish Town, Maryland County — Police in Maryland County have investigated, charged, and forwarded to court a 47 year old man on allegation of sexual molestation of a two-year-old child.
The horrible incidence, Police details contain, took place in Harper’s Fish Town community, disclosing further that suspect Nathaniel Walker, on July 26 defiled the toddler when the innocent child’s mother left her at home and went to a nearby market to conduct a business transaction.
Oretha Williams, age 32, and mother of the child is said to have been briefed by a neighbor named Edward P. Wesley upon her return home and the case was reported to the Police, prompting an immediate arrest of suspect Walker.
Having spent 48 hours in pretrial detention at the locality’s police cell, the suspect was turned over to the Women and Children’s Protection Section of the Police-leading to a full scale investigation into the circumstances responsible for Walker to have committed such an inhumane and egregious act.
On Tuesday July 29, 2025, the Magisterial Court in Harper took charge of the matter and Walker is now serving his court pretrial detention. The Police charge sheet contains that suspect Walker admitted and confirmed committing the act-although no reason responsible for his action was indicated.
Prior to Police involvement, Oretha Williams who is the mother of the victim took the toddler to the nearby medical facility for a check up to know whether true or false Walker did the act. According to the Police Charge Sheet, medical findings proved that the toddler was tampered with, something the suspect did not deny doing.
According to the Police report, during the investigative interview with the Police, suspect Walker confessed to the act by explaining that he went to buy juice at the provision shop owned and operated by a man identified as one Thomas Sieh, and, upon concluding his transaction with Sieh, he saw the victim naked, something which aroused his manhood. He continued that he immediately took the victim and put her on his lap and started having sexual intercourse with her. While in his terrifying act against the minor, Edward P Wesley saw him and began to video-record him, the evidence which is said to have also been presented to the Police.
Based on the suspect’s confession and the evidence produced by witness Wesley, the Police charged Walker with statutory rape, non bailable crime with a punishment of a possible life time imprisonment if found guilty.
