PENANG, Malaysia — The global direct-selling company QNET has opened its flagship annual convention, V-Malaysia 2025, celebrating 27 years of operations under the theme “Together We Rise.” The five-day event, staged at the SPICE Arena in Penang, has drawn more than 10,000 distributors, agents and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries, including a strong delegation from Liberia.
The convention, which began Sept. 13, blends cultural performances with business engagement. Traditional Malaysian and Indian dances punctuated the opening ceremony, followed by motivational addresses from QNET’s top executives.
QNET founder Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran set the tone with a keynote address that urged partners and distributors to rally behind the company’s mission of collective success. “You are the reason we are here today,” he told the cheering crowd. “Without you, we could not be here. Your courage, your faith and your unity have empowered us to do more, and we are depending on you.”
Co-founder Joseph Bismark echoed the call for loyalty and gratitude. “We are grateful to you, our partners. Thanks for your support. Thanks for believing in us. We love you,” he said, drawing chants and applause from thousands.
Organizers emphasized that V-Malaysia is more than an anniversary celebration. The gathering also serves as QNET’s largest networking and leadership training platform, featuring testimonies, business presentations and mentorship sessions. The company says the convention energizes its global network while reinforcing its role in wellness and lifestyle solutions.
Founded in 1998, QNET markets itself as a company that empowers millions worldwide through direct selling of certified wellness and lifestyle products. However, it has faced controversy in some markets, where critics accuse it of operating in a gray zone between legitimate network marketing and pyramid-style schemes. Despite the scrutiny, QNET’s influence has expanded across Asia and Africa. Liberian attendees at the Penang convention described the gathering as a rare opportunity for global networking and leadership development not easily accessible back home.
This year’s theme, “Together We Rise,” reflects QNET’s push for solidarity among its distributors amid increased regulatory attention in several countries. Company leaders urged participants to embrace resilience and unity as the organization’s strongest tools for growth.
The convention runs through Sept. 17, featuring cultural showcases, motivational speeches and intensive training sessions intended to send participants home with renewed purpose and commitment to the business.
