Monrovia – Liberia international Nohan Kenneh has completed a permanent move to Israeli second-tier club Maccabi Ahi Nazareth from English League Two side Tranmere Rovers.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder signed with the Liga Leumit club on July 10, beginning a new chapter after spending one season at Tranmere. He made 37 appearances for the English club and provided one assist during the 2025-26 campaign.
Kenneh, who also holds English nationality, is a right-footed holding midfielder standing 1.90 meters (6-foot-3) tall.
He joins Maccabi Ahi Nazareth with experience in both Scottish and English football.
He began his senior career at Hibernian after progressing through the youth ranks at Leeds United, where he featured for the club’s under-18 and under-23 teams in Premier League 2 and the FA Youth Cup.
During his time at Hibernian, Kenneh played in the Scottish Premiership before gaining additional experience on loan at Ross County and Shrewsbury Town. He later joined Tranmere Rovers on a free transfer in 2025.
Over the course of his career, Kenneh has featured in the Scottish Premiership, England’s League One and League Two, as well as domestic competitions including the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy.
Kenneh, whose current market value is estimated at €250,000, will wear the No. 42 shirt at Maccabi Ahi Nazareth as he looks to establish himself in Israel’s Liga Leumit.
