KITENDE, Uganda — Liberian striker Mark Yallah has expressed excitement and determination after completing a permanent move to Ugandan giants Vipers Sports Club. The 25-year-old forward signed a three-year contract, becoming the club’s first acquisition of the current transfer window.
“I feel honored to join a big club like Vipers SC,” Yallah said. “I am ready to give my best and score goals that will help the team make a statement on the continent, win trophies, and make the fans proud. This is a new chapter for me, and I want to write my name in the club’s history.”
Vipers SC, reigning champions of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup, confirmed Yallah’s signing on Wednesday.
Yallah joins the Kitende-based club following a standout season with Liberian side FC Fassell, where he scored 21 goals during the 2024–25 campaign. He finished as the league’s second-leading scorer, behind Nicholas Andrew, who tallied 22 goals.
His impressive run included 10 goals in the final four matches of the season, highlighted by a four-goal performance and a hat trick against Freeport FC.
Yallah has previously played for Mozambican outfit Associa Black Bull FC in 2022, as well as for Liberian club Muscat Football Club, which was later acquired by FC Fassell. His career has demonstrated versatility and consistency across multiple African leagues.
At Vipers, Yallah joins a potent attacking lineup that includes Yunus Sentamu, Kenneth Kimera, Gusto Mulongo, Isaac Ogwang, and Annest Ankunda. The club is aiming to extend its domestic dominance and make a deeper push in continental competitions.
