MONROVIA– Zoom Network Inc., a leading Liberian-owned enterprise, is in talks with the Government of Liberia to launch a large-scale trade fair aimed at revitalizing the national business climate. The proposed event is part of a broader economic stimulus plan involving both domestic and international partners.

Known for its diversified portfolio spanning agriculture, tourism, real estate, healthcare, education, road construction, and technology, Zoom Network is positioning itself as a key player in Liberia’s development push. Over the weekend, CEO Ibrahima Traoré announced the company’s growing interest in supporting the energy sector, which he described as critical to unlocking Liberia’s broader economic transformation.

A central feature of the initiative is a strategic partnership with Juan Nve Nguema Mbengono, CEO of I & S HNOS SL, Inc., an Equatorial Guinea-based firm involved in importing rice, vegetable oil, and premium European olive wine.

Speaking through an interpreter, Mbengono expressed strong confidence in Liberia’s market potential, emphasizing that the collaboration could enhance food security and economic resilience.

“We are bringing international best practices, project management expertise, and sustainable planning to the table,” he said. “Our goal is to deliver long-term value and actionable insights to fast-track Liberia’s development goals.”

Mbengono also indicated that his company is financially positioned to pre-finance essential projects in Liberia. He said this arrangement would allow the government, through its collaboration with Zoom Network, to accelerate the implementation of key national programs.

If finalized, the trade fair is expected to provide a dynamic platform for showcasing Liberian products, attracting foreign investment, and creating connections between local businesses and international markets.

As discussions advance, stakeholders are calling the effort a potential turning point in Liberia’s post-pandemic economic recovery.

The initiative aligns with the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development, a framework aimed at driving nationwide growth and reform. Zoom Network, one of Liberia’s fastest-growing international firms, is spearheading investments across multiple sectors as part of a larger commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
