MONROVIA — The Liberia Football Association (LFA), with support from Doxxbet Liberia, on Saturday, Jan. 10, presented the 2025 Best Male and Female Players with their official grand prizes, recognizing outstanding performances during the 2024–25 football season.
Nicholas Andrews and Edwardline Jackson, winners of the male and female categories respectively, each received a Toyota Camry in recognition of their achievements on the pitch.
Speaking at the brief handover ceremony, LFA President Mustapha Raji emphasized the importance of corporate sponsorship in advancing football development and motivating players across Liberia’s domestic leagues.
Raji praised Doxxbet Liberia for its continued commitment to honoring excellence in Liberian football, noting that the company’s financial backing has elevated the prestige and impact of the LFA Annual Awards since 2019.
“The involvement of our partners, Doxxbet Liberia, has fundamentally changed the dynamics of how we recognize and reward our athletes,” Raji said.
Doxxbet Liberia General Manager Zwannah Sarnor reaffirmed the company’s dedication to its long-standing partnership with the LFA, describing player recognition as essential to the growth and competitiveness of the league.
Sarnor encouraged the award recipients to sustain their form and aim for success beyond the domestic league, urging them to serve as ambassadors for Liberian football at higher levels.
The ceremony concluded with remarks from family members of the awardees, who expressed appreciation to both the LFA and Doxxbet Liberia, describing the awards as a significant milestone in the players’ professional journeys.
This marks the fifth time the LFA and Doxxbet Liberia have awarded vehicles to male Most Valuable Players and the fourth time to female MVPs. Since 2019, a total of nine vehicles have been presented as grand prizes.
