PRAGUE, Czech Republic — Liberian midfielder Divine Roosevelt Teah scored for the second straight game Sunday as Slavia Prague defeated German club SG Dynamo Dresden 4–2 in a preseason friendly.
Teah, 19, came off the bench to net Slavia’s third goal, capping off a swift attacking move initiated by Nigerian midfielder David Moses down the right flank.
The rising star also scored on Wednesday with a curling strike in Slavia’s 3–2 win over Aris Limassol of Cyprus, further solidifying his impact ahead of the 2025–26 season.
Teah joined Slavia Prague from Swedish side Hammarby on Jan. 1, 2025, on a contract running through December 2029. The deal was reportedly worth €3.5 million ($3.8 million). He helped the club clinch the Czech First League title in his debut season, making five appearances.
Young Liberians Making Their Mark
Another Liberian prospect, defender Emmanuel Fully, continues to impress during preseason training. The youngster featured for 46 minutes in Slavia B’s recent 6–0 win over Banik and has played in five preseason fixtures for both the senior and B teams, starting three.
Meanwhile, Liberia national team captain Oscar Dorley also saw action against Dresden, making his third preseason appearance for Slavia Prague.
With multiple Liberians contributing across Slavia’s ranks, anticipation is building for a strong showing by the Czech champions in the upcoming campaign.
