Monrovia – Senior Female Professional Head Coach Thery D. Cole has assured supporters and fans that his team will bring home the Orange Cup trophy this season.
In a dominant quarterfinal performance, Senior Pro crushed Bassa Girls 5-1 at the Tusa Field on Saturday, securing a spot in the semifinals of the 2024/2025 Orange Cup.
Buoyed by this emphatic victory, the team now turns its focus to a highly anticipated clash against Determine Girls FC in the semifinals.
Speaking to The Liberian Investigator after the game, Cole made a bold vow to lead his team to ultimate glory.
“This win is just the beginning,” Coach Cole declared. “Our hard work, dedication, and belief in ourselves have brought us this far, and we are determined to go all the way. We will give our best to win the Orange Cup for our fans, our team, and our administrators.”
When asked about their next opponents, Determine Girls FC, Cole revealed that it was the matchup he had been hoping for.
Senior Pro previously suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against the reigning league champions in the first round of the LFA Upper Women League at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia.
“This is the fixture I’ve been praying for, and I believe my players will seize this opportunity to fight back and reclaim our status in Liberian football,” he said.
Meanwhile, as the Orange Jersey Girls gear up for their crucial semifinal encounter, club president Emmett Stages Glassco has promised a special reward for the players should they reach the final.
“When you qualify for the final of the Orange Cup, each of you will receive a brand-new Camon 30 plus a US$50 game bonus,” Glassco pledged.
