CASABLANCA, Morocco – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has renewed its partnership with global lifestyle and wellness company QNET for the 2025–2026 CAF Interclub season, covering the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and CAF Super Cup.
The new agreement, signed in Casablanca on Monday, November 3, by CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba and Cherif Bassirou Abdoulayede, QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, marks an expanded phase of collaboration between the two institutions.
A Partnership Rooted in Growth and Community Impact
Under the renewed deal, CAF and QNET will strengthen fan engagement and community-based initiatives that connect elite football to grassroots development. The initiative seeks to deepen football’s social impact, enhance local talent pipelines, and ensure the sport’s sustainable growth across the continent.
QNET has served as an official sponsor of CAF’s top-tier club competitions since 2018, a relationship both sides describe as mutually transformative.
CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe hailed the partnership as a reflection of African football’s growth and expanding influence.
“The 2025/26 edition of the CAF Interclub competitions has seen record numbers of clubs participating in the preliminary stages,” Motsepe said. “This is mainly thanks to CAF’s investment, including the USD 13 million provided to clubs to support logistics and operations. We are delighted to welcome QNET as a partner in driving this development.”
Empowering Communities Through Football
QNET executives say the partnership goes beyond sponsorship, aiming to use football as a platform for empowerment, unity, and inspiration.
Trevor Kuna, QNET’s Chief Officer for Sponsorships, described the renewed partnership as “a celebration of African talent and ambition.”
“Through football, we are inspiring communities, nurturing potential, and shaping a future full of opportunity and promise across the continent,” Kuna said.
Building a Legacy of Unity and Opportunity
As CAF and QNET extend their collaboration, both organizations say their shared vision is to celebrate the spirit of African football — one built on unity, excellence, and opportunity for generations to come.
The partnership is also expected to broaden CAF’s digital and fan engagement footprint while strengthening QNET’s brand presence across Africa’s rapidly growing football markets.
“This collaboration is about more than football; it’s about legacy,” said Abdoulayede during the signing ceremony. “We’re proud to stand with CAF in shaping a brighter, more connected future for African football.”
