QNET warns against scam operations, hosts product expo in Liberia

MONROVIA — QNET, a global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has warned the public about individuals fraudulently using its name to scam unsuspecting victims by promising foreign jobs and travel visas.

Speaking Friday during a media workshop at the Boulevard Palace Hotel in Monrovia, Cheriff Abdoulaye, QNET’s deputy general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, said the company does not offer overseas employment or operate as an investment or travel agency.

“QNET is not a travel or investment scheme. QNET does not offer employment opportunities abroad in countries such as the United States, Canada or elsewhere,” Abdoulaye said.

He emphasized that the company is actively working to combat the misuse of its brand and products by scammers.

“Some people are unable to distinguish QNET from individuals who choose to scam others. If someone is defrauded with the promise of a foreign job or fake visa, that is the act of an individual—not QNET,” Abdoulaye said. “Such persons must be held accountable under the law.”

Abdoulaye clarified that QNET operates under a direct selling model, allowing legally eligible individuals to purchase and promote its products. He added that those who choose to promote QNET’s offerings can register as Independent Representatives but are not considered employees.

“Registering as an Independent Representative or distributor does not make that person a QNET employee,” he said.

As part of its public awareness campaign, QNET held a two-day product expo on May 10–11 at the Executive Pavilion in Monrovia. The event was open to the public, government institutions and regulatory agencies.

The expo showcased a range of wellness and personal care products, including the EDG3 Plus supplement for vitality, the Amezcua e-Guard X for energy balance, the Chi-Pendant 4 for radiation protection, the Bio-Disc 3 for enhanced water absorption, and ProSpark Toothpaste, known for combining oral hygiene with health benefits. Also on display was the latest luxury timepiece collection from Swiss watchmaker Bernhard H. Mayer.

QNET said the event underscored its commitment to transparency, quality and consumer education.
