SAFE Insurance Brokers appoints Arthur King as CEO

Monrovia – SAFE Insurance Brokers has appointed Arthur King as its new Chief Executive Officer, signaling a new phase of growth and professionalism in Liberia’s insurance sector. With over a decade of experience in the country’s post-war insurance market, Mr. King brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of the unique needs of corporate and individual clients in Liberia.

Throughout his career, Arthur King has successfully served high-profile clients such as ArcelorMittal, APM Terminals, the Peace Corps, and several USAID-funded projects, building a reputation as a trusted and innovative insurance professional. He is currently completing a top-tier Master’s degree in Strategic Management at a leading Swedish university, equipping him with advanced knowledge and global insights to drive SAFE Insurance Brokers forward.

In his new role, Mr. King is focused on transforming perceptions about insurance in Liberia by ensuring that clients get real value for their premiums. “Insurance is not a waste or a mere expense; it is an advantage, a source of peace of mind, and an enabler for individuals and businesses,” Mr. King remarked during the announcement. He emphasized that the challenges in Liberia’s insurance market are not due to the ineffectiveness of insurance but rather the lack of professional guidance in acquiring the right policies.

Mr. King’s vision for SAFE Insurance Brokers involves leveraging his experience in advanced African markets and applying the strategic management skills honed during his studies in Sweden to introduce a new level of dynamism and innovation in the sector. He believes that with the right professional support, insurance can play a pivotal role in economic growth by mitigating risks for businesses and individuals alike.

“Our goal at SAFE Insurance Brokers is to ensure that insurance is seen as a tool for empowerment. By providing professional advice and tailored solutions, we aim to grow confidence in insurance and, ultimately, the sector itself,” Mr. King stated.

With Mr. King at the helm, SAFE Insurance Brokers is poised to lead a paradigm shift in Liberia’s insurance industry—one that will not only build trust but also enhance the overall value of insurance for all Liberians.

SAFE Insurance Brokers invites individuals and businesses to take advantage of its expertise, assuring clients that with the right partner, insurance can be a key driver of security and progress.
