Bloom Bank Africa Liberia vows to boost local businesses through banking

Monrovia – The Executive Director of Bloom Bank Africa Liberia Limited, Chris A. Osisiogue, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to strengthening local businesses in Liberia through accessible and innovative banking solutions.

Speaking at the “Aye Waste” promo grand draw, held at the Invincible Sports Park in Monrovia on Saturday, February 22, 2025, Mr. Osisiogue declared, “This is Bloom Bank – the bank for individuals, the bank that brings light in the place of darkness, and we have got your backs.”

The raffle draw is a strategic initiative by the bank’s management to encourage more Liberians to save with Bloom Bank Africa Liberia Limited. To participate, customers must deposit at least L$20,000 at any of the bank’s branches, which makes them eligible for the draw.

According to Osisiogue, individuals who maintain a minimum balance of L$20,000 in their account for at least one month will receive an exceptional 10 percent interest rate. In addition, customers who make multiple deposits of L$20,000 will increase their chances of winning the raffle.

Empowering Businesses Through Digital Banking

Osisiogue emphasized that Bloom Bank is focused on providing both digital and physical platforms to help businesses thrive.

“Our goal is to create income opportunities and online, digital solutions for our clients so that their businesses can expand beyond limitations,” he said.

He noted that the bank is fully committed to ensuring that its clients’ businesses do not remain stagnant, stressing that Bloom Bank operates a digitally enabled system designed to support entrepreneurs.

“What defines us as an institution is our ability to provide digital enablement consistently,” Osisiogue explained. “We analyze your business and show you how to expand beyond your current reach. Whatever digital support you need, we help bring it to life.”

Capacity Building & Collaboration

The Executive Director also highlighted the importance of capacity building in enhancing business growth, noting that the bank collaborates closely with its clients to ensure sustainability and success.

“We exist for the people. That’s why we say, ‘Let’s bloom together.’ If you try to do everything alone, you will struggle. But with Bloom Bank, your business can flourish beyond imagination,” he added.

A Successful Business Networking Event

The Aye Waste Promo Grand Draw, hosted by top Liberian comedian Angel Michael, rewarded eligible customers with exciting prizes, including motorbikes, tricycles, refrigerators, and blenders.

Additionally, the event featured at least 67 confirmed local vendors who showcased their products and services while processing transactions through their Bloom Bank accounts.

The event not only celebrated financial savings but also demonstrated Bloom Bank’s commitment to economic growth and financial inclusion for Liberian entrepreneurs.
