MONROVIA – NOVA Africa Ventures is proud to announce the successful launch of the 2025 Liberia Investment Conference, held on July 16, 2025, at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Monrovia. The conference, which was led by the office of the Honorable Vice President, Jeremiah Kpan Koung, in collaboration with the National Investment Commission (NIC), and organized by NOVA Africa Ventures, brought together a dynamic mix of over 250 delegates from around the world, representing a broad spectrum of government, diplomatic, private sector, and development partners.
The theme of this year’s conference was “Partnering for Prosperity, Unlocking Liberia’s Investment Frontiers”. Under the President’s ARREST agenda, the opening ceremony set the stage for transformative dialogue and action. This year’s special guest speaker was Mrs. Ngone Diop, Director, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), West Africa Office. The Vice President delivered the Keynote Address.
The high-level event drew the participation of diplomatic missions, each represented by ambassadors or heads of mission from countries including but not limited to the United States of America, United Kingdom, Cameroon, China, Cote d’Ivoire, France, Guinea, Ghana, Morocco, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Sweden. Their presence reinforced the growing international confidence in Liberia’s investment climate and its potential for regional economic leadership.
International development and multilateral partners were also strongly represented, with delegations from the United Nations, European Union, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The United States Department of Commerce was also represented by the Missouri Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). Their engagement reflects ongoing global interest in Liberia’s economic transformation and inclusive development goals.
Delegates came from across the globe—including Germany, the United States, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and other countries—underscoring the conference’s international significance. In addition, a strong showing of Liberian private sector leaders, diaspora entrepreneurs, and regional investors from across West Africa further enriched the discussions and networking opportunities.

The event features sector presentations, panel discussions, expo and networking opportunities. These conversations provided space for innovative dialogue and unveiled new avenues for public-private collaboration. Adding to the momentum, companies from around the world attended with clear investment intentions across key sectors.
The conference will continue on July 17, 2025, with an exciting second day of activities and panel discussions focused on critical areas such as policy reform, banking and finance, creating an enabling environment for investment, technology and innovation, and deeper dives into mining and energy. These sessions are designed to unpack systemic challenges, propose concrete solutions, and spotlight Liberia’s readiness for strategic and impactful investments.
