VOINJAMA — The calendar of events for the Sixth Commencement Convocation of Lofa County University has been released.
Chairman of this year’s Convocation Program, Momoh Taylor, announced that graduation activities will commence on December 15 with a Baccalaureate Service at the University auditorium. This will be followed by a Nursing Tea Party on Monday, December 16, and the President’s Tea Party on Tuesday, December 17.
On Wednesday, December 18, there will be an all-day sporting event on the University campus, leading up to Class Night on Thursday, December 19. The official Sixth Commencement Convocation ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 21, on the University campus. The Acting Chairman of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority has been invited to serve as the Convocation Speaker.
Taylor further disclosed that approximately 200 students have been academically cleared to graduate from the University’s Associate of Arts (AA) degree program.
Meanwhile, the President and CEO of Lofa County University, along with the Board of Trustees, has extended an invitation to the general public to grace the occasion.
