Lone Star midfielder Mo Sangare has quickly established himself as a key player for Swiss Challenge League club AC Bellinzona.
Sangare provided a crucial assist as Bellinzona defeated FC Aarau 2-1 in the Swiss Challenge League on Saturday.
Aarau is home to Liberian forward Emmanuel Ernest, while Liberian international Allen Njie also featured in the match.
Sangare’s vital assist helped AC Bellinzona secure a 2-1 comeback victory.
It was another outstanding performance by the Liberian international, earning him an impressive 7.3 rating.
The match marked Sangare’s seventh consecutive start of the season for the Newcastle United homegrown midfielder.
In six league matches so far this season, the Liberian midfielder has earned the following ratings: 7.3 away to FC Aarau, 8.2 against FC Schaffhausen, 8.2 and 7.0 versus Neuchâtel Xamax, 7.2 against Etoile Carouge, 7.0 against Stade Nyonnais, and 7.9 in the away match with FC Wil.
The former Livingston midfielder has been a regular starter since Mario Marinica took over as Lone Star coach. He is also part of the Liberia squad for the two upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Togo and Algeria.
