Monrovia – In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the Married Men Association of Liberia (MMAL) has expressed strong solidarity and support for Liberian women, highlighting their critical roles in shaping the nation’s social, economic, and cultural landscape.
In a statement, MMAL President Mr. Delino Bryant recognized the significance of the day as an occasion for global reflection, celebration, and advocacy for gender equality. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting women’s rights, dignity, and welfare throughout Liberia.
“Today, we honor their resilience, courage, and determination,” Mr. Bryant said. “Whether at home, in business, in leadership, or within our communities, Liberian women have consistently been pillars of strength, and their contributions are crucial to our national progress.”
Mr. Bryant reaffirmed MMAL’s resolve to collaborate actively with partners, governmental entities, and civil society organizations to amplify women’s voices, safeguard their rights, and enhance their access to education, economic opportunities, and leadership positions.
The statement further asserted that the Association strongly believes in a vision of a robust Liberia built on solidarity between men and women, advocating collectively for empowerment, dignity, and equal rights for all citizens.
The Married Men Association of Liberia is a civic group dedicated to fostering family welfare, promoting gender equality, and contributing actively to community development across Liberia.
